Lewis Original Christmas Cards
Christmas Card Series 1959-1966
Illustrated Christmas cards drawn by John Lewis, printed and sent to family and friends from 1959 to 1966. This professionally framed collection was a gift from Louise to Jay and hangs each year from the lead up to Christmas to their birthdays in March. Note the inscription: [ Don't throw it out! Its a LEWIS ORIGINAL ] that was the treasured mark of a lot of dad's artwork.

PUNch Lines Series
John Lewis (my dad) had a lifelong fascination with illustrating puns. Top of mind were odd contractions of real given names to describe what people did for a living. If it could be said out loud, he could illustrate the subject in pen and ink. Definitely, a Lewis original trait!
